My number one goal as a therapist is to create a safe and supportive environment for you, your family, and/or your child.
Many of my clients share feeling stuck, or unsure about what to do next. My focus is on meeting you where you are at, building on the strengths you already have, and helping you to learn the skills you need to feel ready to move forward.
My career path has allowed me to interact with individuals and families in a variety of settings. It is a blessing to walk with people on their journey, whether it be through grief, divorce or separation, anxiety, depression, ADHD, oppositional defiant disorder, trauma, or any other challenge that life sometimes throws at us.
I earned my bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Florida State University, and my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Florida. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida.
My experience and training in clinical mental health counseling, combined with my background in behavior, helps me to come alongside my clients and support them creatively and effectively.
This broad experience allows me to utilize a variety of modalities based upon the unique needs of each person. Whether we use cognitive behavioral therapy, person-centered therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, play therapy or some combination, I look forward to nurturing your growth and empowering you to find joy, peace, and success.
