"Promise me you'll always remember: You're braver than you believe, and stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think." - Christopher Robin

I am proud to be a lifelong resident of St. Augustine and I feel blessed to have such an amazing hometown. I am a wife, a mother, and a MiMi to a wonderful grandson. Spending time with my beautiful family is one of my favorite things to do in my downtime. I am a fitness enthusiast; I also enjoy traveling and spending time at the beach.

In the past twelve years of working in public education, I have had the privilege of supporting students and families in various capacities. I have guided students in the areas of academic success, social/emotional well-being, and college/career readiness.

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Public Administration from Flagler College, and a Master of Education in Counselor Education in School Counseling from the University of North Florida. As a school counselor over the past seven years, I have worked with students to help them set goals and motivated them to take the necessary steps to reach their goals.

As an academic success coach, I work with students in middle school, high school, and college. I take the time to get to know each individual so that I can better understand what their needs are and then collaborate with them to develop a support plan to address those needs. The primary focus of academic coaching is to support student success through strengthening executive functioning skills such as: organization, time management, goal setting, prioritizing, task management, self-advocacy, and accountability. Through individual and/or group sessions, I work with students to strengthen these skills to be more successful in school and life.

I also work with students in the following areas: college/career readiness, academic requirements for NCAA Eligibility, and academic advising for high school students to ensure they are on track for graduation and prepared to seek college admissions.
